Ricky has been managing forestry projects and educating the public about wildfire and forest health for Ciudad SWCD since 2022. Ricky comes to Ciudad with over 10 years of experience in wildfire fuels program management, wildland firefighting,  conservation corps management, disaster response coordination, and arboriculture. Before joining Ciudad SWCD Ricky owned and operated a tree service in Albuquerqe called Ricky Digs Trees.  Ricky is an ISA Certified Arborist (RM-8451A), earned a BA in Environmental Studies, and serves on the board of the East Mountain Wildfire Preparedness Association.
