The White House has released a series of fact sheets about the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This fact sheet discusses key measures in the Act that advance environmental justice. The IRA includes several new environmental justice grant programs, including climate and environmental justice block grants and a grant program for improving energy efficiency, water efficiency or climate resilience of affordable housing. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) created “Climate Literacy: The Essential Principles of Climate Science” to present information important for individuals and communities to know about Earth’s climate, the impact of climate change and adaptation or mitigation approaches.
